I'm a Web/Application Developer that dabbles in a few different programming languages. I'm into big ideas,
problem solving, learning, research, startups, entrepreneurship, out-of-the-box thinking, and collaboration.
I spend most of my time not paying attention, and the rest of it being distracted.
My Blog:
I figure it's about time I get more involved with the community. So, I've created this Blog where I'm hoping to
spark up some interesting topics and maybe contribute some questions/answers to the development
community. This will also be the platform I use to make public some of the projects I have been
tossing around in my head for the last few years.
Currently this silly little wordpress install is broken. I'll fix it whenever I've got a free moment. And then, about
ten free moments after that I'll actually try and populate it.
My Portfolio:
My Portfolio is a collection of sites and
applications I've worked on. It's very incomplete right now since I threw it together in a pinch. To be honest
it'll probably be that way for a while too. If you have any questions regarding any of my work, drop
me a word at akaGOMEZ@gmail.com. Still working on getting my @thelastonefinished.com account up. Things
happen slower on a VPS.
My Freelance Work:
I am currently a full-time freelancer. I bring project management skills, front-end/back-end programming,
and the potential to solve/stomp just about any technology related problem you may have. I'm available
for consulting, contracting, and development. Just drop me a quick email

This Site:
This site is managed with a WordPress back-end masquerading as a Content Management System. Really though,
I don't like the idea of some WYSIWIG generating my markup, or traversing 13 selectors to apply styles
to my target element.. So, I installed
wp-include-file
and I'm in business.
Really though, I'm hugely unhappy with Wordpress for my site and if I wasn't in such a rush when I put it
up, I would had build it out from scratch. As soon as I get some time (never), I'll start from scratch.
